Join us, at Spring Valley, for Horse Camp and get the best fun and teaching in Alabama, for all horse lovers.

Our Camp is Monday through Friday 8am - 12pm (noon), early drop off and extended stay arrangements can be made. We supply all lunches and snacks.

We begin each morning right with lots of riding. After our morning rides we break for lunch, and the remainder of the afternoon is spent staying cool and learning about horses through various projects and games, indoors under the misters!

The week-long program has a strong emphasis on horsemanship and because it is all hands-on learning, the students leave as better horsemen.

All students must arrive in their riding clothes and be ready to ride.

The cost for camp is $250.00. This includes snacks. Please send a water bottle for them to reuse throughout the day.

About us:

All training and teaching at Spring Valles is done by or under the guidance of World Champion Rise D. Jones. Rise competes all around the world, primarily in hunter/jumpers. Being able to utilize her history of classical dressage training in all her riding, Rise has been very successful with her training. She has several students successfully competing in different show circuits all around. Rise also likes to explore all disciplines with the children giving theme the versatility it takes to ride intercollegiate.

Spring Valley has so much to offer the horse enthusiast. We have beginners of all ages through the most advanced of riders competing regularly. A couple of camps are offered each year, but the kids enjoy spending as much time as possible at the barn.
